Semax 10mg
Semax 10mg - Cognative Health Peptide
Overview
Semax is a synthetic peptide that was developed and used by the Russian military in the 1980's. In Russia, it is a registered pharmaceutical where it is prescribed for conditions such as stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, cognitive decline, and optic nerve disease. What makes Semax unique, is its ability to be rapidly absorbed unlike oral medication where most is absorbed by the stomach.
How it Works
Semax upregulates brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and related signalling proteins, which support neuroplasticity and memory formation. It protects neurons under conditions of hypoxia (lack of oxygen) and oxidative stress which limits cell death after a stroke or brain injury eg: a concussion. It has shown to improve mood and motivation by modulating serotonin and dopamine pathways in the brain.
